Description
A fogbow is similar to a rainbow except that it is caused by sunlight passing through droplets of fog rather than rain. Because droplets of fog are far smaller than raindrops, a fogbow results in very weak colors or no colors at all, which is why it is sometimes called a white rainbow. This one was captured off Ketron Island in Washington state's beautiful Puget Sound.
